Responsible for technical management and support of company software engineering related projects; create test tools; perform technical problem analysis and investigate issues; suggest and fix technical issues in conjunction with database team; ensure QA of development builds; create tools to rank album sizes; fuzzy matching of algorithm differences; interact with Japanese customer team on deliverables and related schedules for customer projects; participate in appropriate product specification process with Product Management, including documentation review/edits/sign-off (as part of Core Team); identify, manage, communicate and escalate project issues as appropriate; Support Sales & Legal departments by reviewing customer licenses and company's contract schedules; review and provide feedback to validation and implementation schedules for all new products released; manage weekly reports detailing high-profile customers, key dates, project milestones, target ship dates, issues, etc.; provide technical support to sales & customer teams throughout the pre-sales & post-sales process; ensure customer expectations are properly set & provide support for technical kick-off meetings prior to the start of each new project; work with customer representatives to maintain and update device presentation and ensure Japanese device implementations are accurately reflected; coordinate specialists to answer technical questions and integrate into internal knowledge base; ensure customer feature requests & integration issues are adequately captured and presented to Product Management.
The requirements of the position are a Master's degree in Engineering or related or foreign equivalent, 2 years relevant experience and experience or coursework in data conversion rules, data engineering, algorithm design and parallel program languages.
