Alpine's Hard Disc Player HDA-5460MS/ HDA-5465MS provides the convenience of a removable hard disk drive (HDD) that can be used to transport music to your car from your home PC via USB port. With 16MB of storage, the HDD holds up to 4,500 songs – providing music for days on end. Recording can be done directly on the device (Requires the CDA-9815J CD Head Unit) or you can remove the HDD from the main unit and transfer MP3, WMA, WAV data from your home PC via the USB port. The unit also includes a MagicGate™ Memory Stick® slot, so you to play and record ATRAC 3 format files. The unit comes pre-loaded with Gracenote MusicID®, which provides instant music identification and song, artist and album names.
